How to increase internet speed in Windows XP
Step-1. Log in administrator privileges.
Step-2. Start > Run > type gpedit.msc.
Step-3. Expand the Local Computer Policy.
Step-4. Expand the Computer Configuration.
Step-5. Expand the Administrative Templates.
Step-6. Expand the Network.
Step-7. Select the “QoS Packet Scheduler” in left window.
Step-8. In right window double click the “limit reservable bandwidth” setting.
Step-9. On setting tab check the ENABLED item.
Step-10. Where it says “Bandwidth limit %” change it to read 0 (ZERO).
